Litigation Attorney

Rachel Listro grew up in Minnesota and earned her bachelor's degree at the University of Missouri before relocating to San Diego to attend California Western School of Law on a full-tuition scholarship. During law school, she served as a judicial extern for two federal judges, the Honorable Karen Crawford and the Honorable Anthony Battaglia, and as a civilian legal extern for the United States Navy. Rachel began her career in insurance defense, where she learned how carriers build and defend their cases. She kept the knowledge and changed sides to plaintiff's work, as she wanted to advocate for real people and her community. She has now spent the majority of her career on the plaintiff's side, recovering millions of dollars for her clients, including through jury verdicts. Rachel prepares every case as though it is going to trial, which is why defendants take her cases as seriously as she does. She has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star for multiple consecutive years, a distinction awarded to the top 2.5 percent of eligible attorneys in the state. Outside the office, Rachel is a mother and the wife of a United States Marine.
