Ben Nichols

Ben is a trial attorney focused on helping plaintiffs recover for their serious injuries. Born and raised on the east coast, Ben moved to San Diego thirty years ago to work as a special education teacher and collegiate athletics coach. After a mid-career switch to law, he earned his Juris Doctorate at the University of Minnesota, then began gaining experience with work site accidents; car, bike, and motorcycle accidents; dog bites; trip and falls; wrongful death claims; and civil rights violations. Prior to joining Batta Fulkerson Ben worked as in-house counsel at the largest insurance carrier in the country and as an attorney for the state of California, Department of Justice, litigating hundreds of cases to successful outcomes through settlement or verdicts. When he is not working you will find Ben with his wife and three children enjoying the beach, travelling, coaching soccer, and cheering his kids on from the audience and the sidelines.
