We just settled a motorcycle case for the $100,000.00 policy limits. Our client was legally splitting lanes when a vehicle switched lanes into our client, knocking him off his bike.
Initially, the other person’s insurance company denied full liability due to the police report placing our client at fault for splitting lanes. However, it is legal to split lanes as long as you are following certain guidelines which our client was.
