Legal Case Manager

Mia was born and raised in the northern San Francisco Bay Area. Upon graduating from high school in Sonoma County, she attended Chico State where she graduated with a B.A. in Political Science with an emphasis on Legal Studies. Here she went on to complete minors in Ethics, Justice, and Policy as well as Criminal Justice and obtained a Paralegal Certificate. Prior to joining Batta Fulkerson she worked as a paralegal for the only undergraduate legal clinic in the nation, Community Legal Information Clinic. At CLIC she worked for the County Jail Law Project, directly serving the inmates of the Butte County Jail. Here she deepened her passion for law/advocacy and serving her community. She is eager to attend law school in a few years and become a practicing attorney. In her free time, she enjoys walks by the beach in La Jolla, shopping, attending Padres games, and concerts.
