Ed Meara

Ed is originally from New York and spent the first part of his legal career with an International Law Firm in New York City. Eventually, Ed found his way to California and started practicing law in Los Angeles. Ed’s work focused around insurance defense and he became one of the main trial attorneys for a large insurance company. After years of trying cases for the insurance companies, Ed decided it was time to cross the aisle and represent plaintiffs. Ed has been working as a trial attorney, defending plaintiffs' rights for nearly ten years and has recovered tens of millions of dollars for his clients. In his over 25 years of experience, Ed has tried dozens of cases and is one of the leading trial attorneys in San Diego. In his spare time, Ed loves to spend time with his two sons, Mac and Mitchell, and his wife, Couri. He is an avid reader and rides his beach cruiser around San Diego Bay every evening.
