Trial Attorney

Robert M. Sagerian is a skilled trial attorney who routinely takes cases to trial when it is in the best interest of his client. Robert cares deeply for his clients and their cause. Having previously defended ordinary people against the full force of the government, Robert will zealously advocate on your behalf to ensure the insurance companies provide full and just compensation. He honed his trial skills during a six and a half year career with the San Diego County Public Defender's Office. Robert handled thousands of cases--ranging from drug possession to murder. He's tried over 35 cases to verdict and argued countless motions. Now, Robert exclusively represents plaintiffs in personal injury practice. Mr. Sagerian graduated Magna Cum Laude from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. While in law school, he served as an editor on the Thomas Jefferson Law Review and earned a Burton Award for Distinguished Legal Writing for his article “A Penalty Flag for Preemption.” He also captained the team that won the TYLA Regional Mock Trial Competition. To gain practical experience during law school, Mr. Sagerian worked at Gomez Trial Attorneys. There, he learned the nuts and bolts of personal injury practice from John Gomez, one of the nation’s most recognized trial lawyers. Recently, Mr. Sagerian served as section instructor for the University of San Diego' M.S. Law Enforcement curriculum. In his spare time, Mr. Sagerian loves adventures with his wife; playing with his two dogs and cat, golfing, softball, camping, and serving at his church, The Rock Point Loma.
